Key Stage 1 Dance Festival
Wow !!! What a fantastic evening of dance. The children performed their dance of Monster Mash at Ivanhoe School this evening and were absolutely 'Brilliant'. Miss Guildford and I were extremely proud. Well done to all who took part and the parents and grandparents who supported them.

Kirby Shields Match Report by Liam Berry Yr6
On Thursday 21st November there was a great match against Packington school. The first goal went to Albert Village, Liam passes the ball out to Alex on the right wing who dribbled the ball forward and shot from an angle and beat the keeper at the near post. Packington scored an equaliser before half time.
At half time we made a sub, Zane replaced Patrick on the left wing. The second half was equal bit Albert Village pushed forward looking to retake the lead but got caught out by two break away goals.
With five minutes to go the ball broke to Liam who chipped the ball over the defenders head to Haydn who finished with an excellent left foot shot.
At 3-2 we were back in the game. In the last minute, in the fading light a shot came to Albert Village from the right but the goalie just managed to hold on to the ball at the near post.
The final score was 3-2 Packington.

Kirby Shields Match Report by Hayden Brown Yr6
On Monday 4th November our school football team played in a hard fought match against St Charles in Measham. Both schools created numerous chances in an end to end game. There were lots of corners, free kicks and counter attacking football but despite there efforts neither team could get that exclusive goal and it ended in a 0-0 draw which was a fair result on the balance of play.

Kirby Shield Match Report by William Nolan Year 6
On Monday 27th October 2013 Albert Village played Woodstone football team. It started 0-0. Woodstone had some chances and missed all of them and when Albert Village got the ball Alex crossed it into Emre and Hayden scored! Woodstone kicked off and Albert Village stole the ball and Hayden chipped it into the net. 1 minute later Woodstone had a shot and it went in.
First half 2-1 Albert Village .
The next half stayed 2-1 to Albert Village with lots of chances on both sides. Suddenly a Woodstone player showed great skill and scored, 2-2. It was 2-2 with minutes to go, the nerves were coming and then in the last 30 seconds Woodstone scored.
The match finished 3-2 to Woodstone.
